Explore – Enjoy – Relax.

Imagine sitting on one of the rocking chairs on the wrap around porch listening to the soothing sound of the nearby stream blended with the melody of the native birds. We are located on 128 acres of woodlands and meadows our bed and breakfast offers breathtaking views suitable for any magazine cover. Although we don’t have any farm animals, we have plenty of visitors, from the whitetail deer, turkeys, foxes, and black bear. You are assured a view of Lycoming County’s abundant wildlife from the comfort and safety of the bed and breakfast.

Not only does the bed and breakfast rest on 128 beautiful acres, it also borders thousands of acres of state lands that have hidden treasures throughout. A must see is Worlds End State Park, filled with spectacular waterfalls and unbelievable vistas. Still not enough adventure for you? Try fly fishing on the Loyalsock creek, one of the best creeks for fly fishing in America. Up for the ultimate adventure? How about an all day kayak trip down the Loyalsock Creek or Pine Creek for a truly unforgettable experience. Don’t forget to bring your bike, there are hundreds of miles of biking trails all around the bed and breakfast.

As your day concludes you’ll enjoy the fireflies rising from the meadows, the birds settling in for the night, and the peepers singing in harmony. If you’ve had enough adventure for one day or just want to get out and enjoy a night in Williamsport there is plenty of places to visit. Williamsport offers award winning restaurants, live shows at the Williamsport Community Arts Center, excellent shopping, and little league world series games. After your peaceful night’s sleep you wake up to the aroma of brewing coffee and a freshly prepared breakfast (made from organic ingredients grown on the farm). One thing is for sure, you will enjoy your stay, looking forward to your next visit to your home away from home.

Hello, this is Maggie, and my husband Larry. We are delighted to be your hosts at Serene View Farm Bed and Breakfast that we have ran for the past 16 years. I, Maggie, love to cook and prepare breakfast for you, our honored guest. My husband Larry is the loyal clean-up crew, and talented groundskeeper. We are retired professionals refusing to lay down and accept retirement! We enjoy the lively discussions with guests at Serene View daily. We find great satisfaction in giving our guest’s a relaxed, quiet, get away as they travel. We have built a place not only for us to find great relaxation, but seek to offer that same beautiful experience to all of our guests. Our Bed and Breakfast is laden with items of our history and the history of the area, its a relaxing yet engaging place to explore. A little bit of our history is that Larry and I have been married for 37 years. We gladly give credit to God who has been the bonding glue between us. He has gotten us through both joyous and difficult times. We attend a local church regularly. We are the proud grandparents of 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  We also are energized by our children (personal trainers) who coach us on a regular basis about our fitness. You can often see us bike riding. We love cars. Our Miata and Porsche 911 help relieve stress. Larry volunteers at Watkins Glen International Race Track for the Sports Car Club of America as he enjoys being a car enthusiast. Now you know a little bit about us, come stay with us so we can learn a little bit more about you.

We are committed to you having the most enjoyable and relaxing stay at Serene View Farm!
